Quite a few politicians & armchair economists like to use this recent inflation as rationale to further their own agendas. Yet they ignore a few key factors in order to validate their biases. In the end, they leave people uniformed & disillusioned with F.U.D. I’m getting kind of sick of that bullshit.
One of the reasons why inflation is high is because of low supply. The reason why they supply is low is because the supply chain is still jacked up. The reason why it’s jacked up in the first place is the pandemic & the willfully incompetent pandemic response from the previous administration.
A lot of skilled supply chain workers refused to follow pandemic protocols…with disastrous results Supply chain companies are having a hard time back filling these jobs. These jobs pay well but there is a signification skills gap. Meanwhile we have folks forming unions for jobs that are about to be replaced by robots.
Until he supply chain is straightened out, inflation won’t come down as fast as we’d like. The Fed can’t make people go get the skills they need to get supply chain jobs. Unfortunately, many workers just don’t want to do those jobs. Yet politicians keep skipping over that because it doesn’t validate their “corporate greed” mantra.
Why the fuck aren’t these politicians getting programs in place to get folks trained to backfill these supply chain jobs? Who the fuck has their ear? Are they fucking listening to the right people?
